A cloudy day but no rain, so managed to get this one painted.  I’ve passed this farm dozens of times on my way to work, about time I made a picture of it.

Summer fields. Oil on board. 8 x 10.

Painted from just off the road to Soignies on Monday.  It’s been raining non-stop since that evening, so no more plein air since then…

Day off work today so managed to get out and finish a couple of small paintings. A very dull, overcast day and I really couldn’t get into my stride at all for some reason. Meh.

Autumn colours. Oil on board. 8 x 10.

A sunny weekend here in Belgium! Got out to paint for an hour or so yesterday, this is the view of a ridgeline in the late afternoon near the ‘Joyeux Asticots’.

Managed an hour or two out in the grey and threatening drizzle this afternoon. Think I may start a series on the theme of dull afternoons in Belgium!

Last weekend’s effort. The sun burst through the cloud cover (albeit briefly) as I was packing away my gear…
