England’s Dreaming

I’ve done some tweaking to these; purists might say they no longer qualify as plein air work, but I felt that they needed a little more to finish them properly. The first has had quite a lot of re-work, the second just a little, and the last nothing apart from a signature. On to the next ones now – I may return to the one of ‘Falling Water’ next I think, before I restart work on my River Thames commission.

The only other plein air I managed in Norway that’s remotely worth sharing! I’ve reworked it a little since taking this photo, will post the updated version tomorrow.

This one is just about complete. I may just make the snow patches look a little less regular.

This was a fantastic spot to paint from. The picture itself needs some work though, especially to fix the boats I think.
